SPZ-440 bidirectional ballast distributing and regulating machine, a newly-developed ballast regulator, can offer a brilliant traveling performance, i.e. a self-propelled speed of 100km/h and a towed speed of 120km/h. With two driver’s cabs, it is applicable to the ballast distributing and regulating and the ballast bed cleaning during railway construction, overhauling and maintenance, not only for the Chinese high-speed railways to be built, but also towards the existing railway speed increase, and therefore it is a piece of critical supporting equipment in the railway repair, speed increase, renovation and new railway construction units.
Equipped with a hydraulic drive, the machine is characterized by a state-of-the-art technology and perfect performance. The bogie adopts double damping structure, improving the self-propelled and towed speeds and switch traffic abilities, thus guaranteeing safety performance; the frame is made of solid structure, so that its strength and stiffness can meet the requirements for high-speed running of a long train formation; the side plow and middle plow can coordinate for the bidirectional ballast distribution and regulation, with the features of simple control and safe operation; the rotary middle plow device with innovative design and plug middle plow device may be additionally equipped, based on the customers’ needs so as to make the ballast distributing function more closely integrated with practice; the cleaning device has an extra cleaning power, thus able to effectively clean the ballast scattering over the sleeper, fastening and track side; the longitudinal corrugated sidewall conveyor belt and the ballast hopper can be used to store and distribute the cleaned ballast, and backfill the section with little ballast or notch left from ballast screening in order to achieve optimum utilization of ballast and provide orderly and beautiful lines after the ballast distributing and regulating work is concluded; the working safety and shutdown alarm system can identify the obstacles in a timely manner and give sound and light alarms during the side plow’s work, i.e., when the obstacles are within the minimum safe distance but the complete machine makes no response, it can shut down the entire machine and produce an alarm to ensure safe and reliable working; the ballast bed cross-section laser scanning system can compare the ballast bed cross-section upon regulating with the one of the standard ballast bed, and automatically calculate the excess or loss of ballast in the current section of line, hence guide the field ballast distributing and regulating operation, so as to achieve meticulous ballast management.Overall dimensions (L×W×H):18320 mm × 3230 mm × 4250mm
