The CDC-16 Turnout Tamping Machine is dedicated to the maintenance and construction of railways and switches. During the course of turnout maintenance, this machine, provided with four tamping devices, follows the scientific working principle of “three-line track lifting and four-line tamping” and uses the sliding slewing device and the telescopic rotating device to achieve various tasks, such as the track lifting, track lining and leveling for railways and turnouts and the compacting for ballasts under sleepers on both steel track sides or at sleeper ends. As for this machine, the geometric parameters of railway track before and after operation may be measured and recorded by the on-board measuring system, and the operation may be carried out according to the set geometric parameters of track through the control system.
