DC-32Ⅳ is a self researched and developed cyclic-action 2-sleeper tamping machine. This machine is capable of lifting, lining, leveling, tamping ballast at both sides of rails and under sleepers as well as the ballast at sleeper ends. DC-32IV provides 4 tamping units which mean 32 tamping heads in total with 35Hz frequency. With 4 tamping units, this machine is able to complete 2-sleeper tamping and 1-sleeper tamping when necessary. The integral lifting-lining device can finish the lifting-lining action reliably with sufficient power. AGC track geometric parameter computer system provides theoretical geometric parameter for the lifting and lining. Realizes data communication between AGC system and PLC control system via the network. Furthermore, the AGC system integrates the functions of a recorder. With the AGC-R track parameter recording and tamping quality evaluation system, the precision of tamped tracks is accurately measured and the tamping process and quality are evaluated.
DC-32IV uses DNCS digital network control system and industrial PC for processing track data, so that various geometric parameters of tracks could be stored and sent out. During the tamping work, different operation modes are available: manual, half-automatic or automatic control.
